Why private

Going private? Let's get this right.

Custom plan. Smart timing. Right guide.

I don't rush you through a plan.
I host you.

— Ran Frenkel

One

Have a say.

Built around your pace, interests, and energy.

Two

Curated picks.

Must-see & meaningful gems — skip the tourist traps.

Three

Depth that moves you.

Not just "seen it" — stories that make the land mean something. The places we visit aren't checkpoints on an itinerary; they're moments where history, faith, and landscape converge.

Four

The right guide, right vibe.

Reads the room, brings deep knowledge, keeps the day smooth.

Five

Logistics handled.

Tickets, booking, meals, changes — done.

Six

Planning, done right.

Smart timing & routes. See more and fewer surprises and closures (Shabbat / holidays / events).

I don't rush you through a plan.
I host you.

About Ran

Travel Israel with an Expert by Your Side

'm Ran Frenkel. Since 2013, I've guided travelers who want more than a checklist — and who notice the difference.

My expertise is built on years of study of the Land of Israel, its ancient traditions and faiths. I bring the history out of the books and onto the trails — every site we visit grounded in clear meaning and real context.

I work in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Hebrew — three different doors into how guests see this country.

The trip is entirely private, planned and led by me, in a private luxury vehicle I drive myself. I handle the planning, the timing, and the small adjustments that make the difference.

When you travel with me, you get me. My full attention, my full investment, and a trip planned for you alone.

On the ground

How I shape your days.

From ancient texts to geopolitical borders to mountain trails. You tell me what moves you, and I set the balance.

The Old City of Jerusalem seen from the Mount of Olives — its ancient walls, the Temple Mount, the Dome of the Rock, and terraced olive groves in the foreground

Faith.

Ancient texts read against the landscape that shaped them. From the hills of Galilee to Jerusalem’s stones and the wilderness — I guide you through the verses and the paths they were walked on.

Archaeology.

Reading the ground itself: what each layer holds, what one period built over another. From the depths of Jerusalem to Caesarea’s harbor, Megiddo’s gates, and Beit She’an’s columns — I bring the findings into the story they belong to.

Two people reaching for a basket of overflowing pita sandwiches with fresh herbs, tahini, and roasted vegetables at Carmel Market, Tel Aviv

Food.

The country through its plates and producers — from open-air markets and small farms to family kitchens and wild herbs on the trail. Tell me what kind of eater you are, and I open the right doors.

Ran Frenkel explaining the geopolitics of the region to a private tour group at the Mount Bental lookout over the valley below

Geopolitics.

What daily life looks like along the lines most people only read about. A kibbutz beside Gaza, a Druze village in the Golan, farming communities along the Lebanese border — the reality no headline quite captures.

A classic vintage Mercedes convertible on a tree-lined Tel Aviv street, with cafés, shops, and pedestrians in the late afternoon light

Modern Israel.

The country as it lives now, not only as it was. The beaches and Bauhaus of Tel Aviv, hillside wineries, the everyday energy of a society that argues, builds, and innovates without pause.

A small private group hiking up to the Alexandrium (Sartaba) fortress above the Jordan Valley

Outdoors.

This is the part of the country you feel in your legs. Desert and crater, river and shore, the trails that cross all of it — on foot, by jeep, by kayak, however the day takes shape. I match it to your pace and set it up.
